I was in a project where there was a peculiar requirement to capture tool tips through script. I got several request also to write a code which will capture the tool tips. I tried with Google!! I got a very nice thread of motevich. I found this is a great solution. This also solves the problem of capturing the alt property of the Image.Here is a solution for capturing Tooltips of image.Even in my project I have used this code only.

Sendkey-- the term says us that this is related to some key which need to be sent..Now Questions are where ?? when?? how?? Consider a scenario when you need to delete few things from your drive or you need to select all the files or you need to take a screenshot automatically through scripting. There might be scenario where QTP fails to record a step and still you need to automate that scenario.

Most of the time I have seen that we need to close Internet Explorer while testing through QTP. Internet explorer means all the pop up , the main page. Say I am testing an application which need to navigate different URL. So what we generally do is to open a browser do what we want to do and close it for the next set of task may be in different URL.
